Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Figs fresh, stemmed and quartered
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 lemon Lemon juiced
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. Combine figs, sugar, lemon juice, and water in a large pot.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before transferring to jars.
