Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips mini or regular
  • 2 drops green food coloring optional

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the peppermint extract and green food coloring (if using) and mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  4. In the last 5 minutes of churning, add the chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
