Southern Style Collard Greens Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 bunches Collard Greens washed and chopped
- 4 slices Bacon chopped
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
1. In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until softened.
3. Add the collard greens to the pot, stirring to coat with the onion and garlic mixture.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes.
5. Stir in the apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
6. Serve hot, garnished with the crispy bacon pieces.
