Tamarind Agua Fresca Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup tamarind pods shelled
- 4 cups water
- ½ cup sugar adjust to taste
1. In a saucepan, combine tamarind pods and water. Bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Let it cool.
3. Strain the mixture into a pitcher, pressing the pulp to extract as much liquid as possible.
4. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
