Remove the turkey giblets and pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
Rub the turkey with the softened butter, making sure to cover all areas.
Season the turkey with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
Stuff the turkey cavity with the fresh herbs, lemon halves, and onion quarters.
Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with aluminum foil.
Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 3.5 to 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the skin to brown.
Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
